Melbourne CBD

Being the busiest part of Melbourne, the CBD (Central Business District) or "The City" is located on the northern bank of the Yarra River. The Melbourne city centre is situated in a grid of streets beautifuly lined with trees, while its well plan public transport network connects the city centre with the rest of the suburbs.
Attractions like the Queen Victoria Market, Chinatown, Federation Sqare, the Melbourne Aquarium, and the retail precinct of Bourke St are some of the many highlights not ot be missed when you visit the Melbourne CBD.

Southbank

Opposite to the Melbourne CBD, Southbank is famous for its cafes with great views of the Yarra river and the CBD. The Crown Casino and the Arts Centre, with its iconic white spire, are also located in Southbank, which is easily accesible through the numerous bridges that cross over the Yarra to the city. This cultural and entertainment centre has also develpoed into a modern residential area that atracts people for its convenient location and fantastic views. The National Gallery of Victoria and the Maritime Museum are spots not to be missed in Southbank.
